How the Mighty haven fallen! We have see many kings rise and fall. They people have turned away from God and now their temple is destroyed. A lot of questions fill the air: Now what? What are we going to do? How could this happen to me? Is God still with us? Does God care?
We see through the exile, God is still with his people. They turned away from Him. But God never turned from them. He is faithful to His people. The Prophets continue to call the people to God and point to the promise of the Messiah.
